Daniela shares her inspiration behind the illustration. "This is water. This is the magic of water. The water of the rain is life for the earth, the water of childbirth is love for the unborn child, the water of the sea is energy and strength for nature, the water of the spring quenches the thirst of the throat and the heart, and the water of tears comforts pain. We ourselves are made of water. Human beings are the way that water has found to get around even far from rivers. Reconnecting to the “All” will make us value everything we are taking for granted. It will make us slow down, trying to get rid of those mechanisms and habits that don’t allow us to see … even though if we are looking. For so long, we have lived under the context of division - where the “Part” becomes the “All”. However, in the journey we have forgotten that every Part contains the All."
We Are Beams, a charity dedicated to supporting disabled children and their families, is thrilled to announce our first-ever online art auction.
All proceeds from this exciting online event will go directly to We Are Beams, helping us continue providing essential services to disabled children and their families.
The auction will run from Tuesday 25th February until Sunday 9th March.
Collection Information:
Please note that all winning bidders will need to collect their artwork from We Are Beams in Hextable. If you wish to arrange your own courier to collect from our Hextable site, we are happy to accommodate this.
