Following on from his wheelchair climb over the O2 Arena, JohnBoy is now taking his support to the global stage. He is taking on the legendary Sydney Marathon in his racing wheelchair to raise vital funds for the disabled children and families who rely on Beams.
Sharing his thoughts on this latest challenge, JohnBoy said:
“I’m incredibly honoured to be taking on this challenge for We Are Beams, a charity that I am so proud to support. Racing the Sydney Marathon in my wheelchair will definitely test my endurance and push me to the limit. But more than anything, I want to use this opportunity to raise awareness of the vital, life-changing work Beams does for so many families, while showing that disability should never limit ambition or possibility.”
