Story

Welcome to my fundraising page for the wonderful children's charity Beams in Hextable, Kent who are celebrating their 30th Anniversary.

My son Kylan and I have both benefited from the services that Beams provide in Kent for kids with additional needs. This incredible team provide support, training and respite to parents, carers and youngsters in our local area.

Kylan was diagnosed as Autistic when he was 4 years old. Beams have provided us with support in school meetings, courses to help myself and other carers and adults understand more about autism. They give much needed support, respite and advice whether it be trawling through the endless form filling for EHCP,DLA or just a friendly ear to listen when needed.

The Beams team have been a lifeline for so many over the past 30 years. I'll be walking across the top of the O2 Dome in Greenwich on March 28 2025 with a team of likeminded fundraisers to enable team Beams to continue the amazing work they do for another 30! 💪💪
