Fundraiser - Marcus @ GRAF Rope Access Takes on 100 Miles for Beams

Story

On Saturday 25 July, I will be taking on the Rat Race Castle to Castle 100, a demanding 100 mile ultra marathon from Edinburgh Castle to Glamis Castle.

Organised by Rat Race, this challenge is far more than a standard race. Covering mixed terrain including trails, roads and countryside routes, it is designed to test both physical endurance and mental strength over a continuous 100 mile distance.

I have convinced two friends to sign up alongside me, but this is very much an individual challenge, and completing it will be a huge personal achievement.

I am taking part to raise funds for We Are Beams, a charity that provides vital support to disabled children and their families. Their work has a meaningful impact on everyday lives, and I am proud to support them.

I would love to raise at least £500. Every donation, whatever the amount, will help ensure Beams can continue delivering essential services and opportunities for the families who rely on them.
