Story

On the 21st March, my sister and I are taking on the challenge of climbing Scafell Pike, England’s highest mountain, to raise vital funds for We Are Beams, a charity close to our hearts.

As someone who has work experience with children who have Special Educational Needs (SEN), I witness firsthand the immense challenges families face. From navigating complex care systems to managing emotional and financial pressures, the journey can be overwhelming. That’s why We Are Beams are so important, they provide essential support, guidance and respite to families who need it most.

Every step we take up that mountain is for the children and families who climb their own mountains every day. Your donation will help We Are Beams continue their incredible work, offering hope, stability and joy to those who need it most.

We aim to support the whole family through a range of services that directly benefit and assist those dealing with the challenges of raising a disabled child.
