Every child deserves the chance to shine. At We Are Beams, we empower children with disabilities to thrive. 

We walk alongside families, navigating the unique challenges they face raising a disabled child. We do this by offering a variety of services including family events, holiday clubs, social activities, family support, financial advice, respite, overnight stays and more.

We Are Beams believe that children can thrive and reach their full potential with the right support.

Beams support over 450 children and their families including Tishe.

Tishe a vibrant and energetic 6-year-old boy faces significant challenges due to his diagnoses of ASD, Global Development Delay, and ADHD.

We Are Beams have started to support Tishe and his family through a range of their support services including Family Advice, Holiday Clubs and Direct Payments.

Beams have been able to make a real difference for Tishe, he has been able to join the holiday clubs, experience new activities and have fun whilst building his socialisation and interactional skills, most importantly, he does not feel overwhelmed.

Tishe’s mum, Elizabeth is so grateful she has found Beams,

Our mission is to provide comprehensive support services to children and young people with any form of physical, learning or sensory impairment living in Dartford, Gravesham, Sevenoaks and the surrounding areas.

We aim to support the whole family through a range of services that directly benefit and assist those dealing with the challenges of raising a disabled child.
